Saputo is a dairy company that produces a variety of dairy products including cheese, milk and cream products. Saputo operates in Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia and the United Kingdom. Saputo USA includes the dairy foods and cheese division, where they produce, market and distribute dairy and non-dairy products such as cream, milk, and creamers. Their Friendship Dairies range include cultured products such as cottage cheese and sour cream. Saputo USA partnered with Scribnia to launch their ‘Friendship Cottage Cheese’ gift with purchase promotion.

Strategy

 

Scribnia used SCRIBE³ to create a microsite for the ‘Friendship Cottage Cheese’ gift with purchase promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Purchase Receipt Validation

  • Gift Cards & Rewards

  • Data Capture & Analytics

 

Consumers that purchase any 16oz Friendship Cottage Cheese product in a single transaction are eligible to receive a $5 Visa digital gift card. In order to obtain the $5 Visa digital gift card, consumers had to register their details on the microsite and validate their purchase by uploading a copy of their receipt.

 

Through Scribnia’s marketing software, SCRIBE³, Saputo USA was able to collect a range of data from that promotion to get an insight into their consumers’ shopping behavior. The Data Capture & Analytics module of SCRIBE³ provides information on consumers’  activity on the microsite during the promotion and their purchasing activities. Saputo USA was able to track the progress of their promotion in real-time and gather valuable consumer information.
